Goodesign – Sustainable. Modular. Timeless.

Goodesign is a Brooklyn-based studio founded by Emmanuel Popoteur that creates furniture meant to live, evolve, and emotionally resonate. Their design philosophy centers on sustainability, using recyclable materials like Baltic birch plywood, stainless steel, and aluminum - never plastic - and rejecting waste in favor of longevity. Their modular systems are built to be reconfigured over time to suit changing spaces and lives. Beyond furniture, Goodesign has ambitions to expand into experiential design - showrooms, modular hotels, even prefabricated homes - turning the brand into a full lifestyle ecosystem.

Soledad Christie, born in Viña del Mar, Chile in 1962, studied Graphic Design before devoting herself to ceramics. For over 25 years, she has lived in San Pedro de Atacama, where the desert’s silence and ancestral energy shape her work. Inspired by pre-Columbian black pottery, she hand-models each piece using ancient pinch and lulo techniques and traditional pit-firing with guano. In 2013 and 2014, her Llamito, Guardian of Water received national and UNESCO recognition for excellence in Chilean craft.
